Shawn Turano, President of Contents Recovery Systems. We are a specialty restoration service providing a patented mobile decontamination of contents in commercial, industrial, and residential settings after natural disasters. Disaster from wildfires, hurricanes, tornadoes, deep freeze, biological and chemical contamination spread are hard on families and businesses. Contents are a core element of the mitigation

As a large loss mitigation contractor myself, I found that as mitigation of the structure was being conducted, the one thing either in the way or being overlooked is the contents. Our patented system now allows large loss mitigation contractors to focus on the dry out or cleaning of buildings as our focus is removing and decontaminating the contents.

Buildings we typically are called out to are Grocery stores, department stores, food service facilities, churches, libraries, schools, hotels, etc. These facilities rely on the structure to be mitigated to pre-loss condition and have products and materials ready to get back to work! We work in tandem with large loss contractors to get the business or service up and running.

CRS has state of the art patented mobile contents cleaning trailers that allow us to properly handle and decontaminate the contents after disaster. CRS teams up with Large Disaster companies to remove all personal items, furniture, textiles, and commercial retail products to allow the mitigation contractor a clear path to a building or home to provide mitigation services. In most cases, the emotional or financial tie to the contents of the home or

structure is as important to the occupants. It is our mission to rescue these affects from the disaster and bring back the normalcy of life by processing the contents at the time of services to the home or building.

CRS has built teams of technicians who care as much for the contents as the owner. We have instilled asafe environment to work in to mitigate damages of the contents and trained our staff to watch for safety issues that arise from major storm events. Our training has allowed the team to move contents quickly during decontamination processes.

CRS has a documentation center that allows us to track and report all contents as they move from a home or building all the way through cleaning and packaging for storage. It is critical that the contents be cleaned properly, but equally important to document for the owner and insurance for reimbursement or cleaning payment! CRS uses bar coding of items into the database for any given project and allows real time tracking of these contents. In large loss events, this is important to get in the hands of those processing for payment or resetting business operations.

CRS will provide the tools and set protocol for each project. This involves the use of Matterport photo imaging prior to movement of the contents to allow a before and after picture to those who need the full story. This also allows CRS Managers to determine from anywhere in the world the protocol for salvage or non-salvage items to be developed.

CRS has teamed with many Industrial Hygienists around the country. This allows us to quickly develop protocol procedures, containments, chemical or gas decontamination procedures. It is also a vital way to manage the entire project from start to finish with real time readings and sample taking where necessary.
