Contents Recovery Systems operation procedure manual
How to properly operate the mobile decontamination trailer system.
- Trailer system is an operation to decontaminate contents or products after natural disaster. The mobile trailer system to be mobilized to any given disaster and be tailored to that particular disaster; i.e. flood, fire, airborne contaminates.
- Trailer system is under constant positive air pressure controls by means of AFD (air filtration devises) bringing in outside air through AFD’s and pressurizing the air pressure inside trailer to keep contaminates on exterior of trailer from contaminating interior air. This is important for packaging items during decontamination as well as the occupants working inside the trailer system.
- Initial Hepa vacuuming of all items brought in the trailer system is important to keep spread of loose contaminates from becoming airborne.
- Large and small ultrasonic cleaning sinks provide a line system to remove contaminates from areas of contents that the human hand cannot penetrate. Heat and ultrasonic cleaning allow the contents to be decontaminated in proper accordance of contents decontamination protocols.
- Commercial Trailer system can house 12 technicians including 1 controller at any given time. Residential trailer system can house 6 technicians at any given time. This allows ease of movement for contents cleaning.
- Chemical delivery system is housed in metal cabinet and easily tailored to the disaster it is being used to clean contaminates; i.e. antimicrobial agent for water or mold, smoke and ash, fire damage chemical ready for water based distribution.
- All Chemicals are non-toxic and MSDS on hand.
- Drying racks post cleaning procedure allow natural drying in open clean air and provide streak free products to be ready for packaging.
- Packaging of contents in either boxes, stretch wrap or plastic containers will be documented by means of individual documenting of items, photographed, and bar coded. All documentation is relayed to on-site trailer office and uploaded to the cloud in real time. Bar coded boxes or wrapped items have accessibility files for all parties to easily identify specific items within a bar coded box.
- All items are cleaned and decontaminated OR, declared non-salvage and documented. Any given project will have 2 document files; Non-salve and salvaged items. Non-salve items will be signed off by an administrator of the project before discarding via “discard authorization form”.
- The salvaged items in boxes, wrapped, or plastic bins shall be placed back in a decontaminated area of the building of origin, or climate controlled off site storage.
- Billing for all processes sent to appropriate billing department of projects.
- Trailer system will be taken off line for 1 hour every 7 hours of operation to perform cleaning and decontamination of the trailer system.
